Mark Fuller, Star Sports Development

I met mark Fuller, of Star Sports Development, at the weekend. Was playing in the finals of the UK flub team championships (a lowly plate final in the o-55 category, which Rob Ballingall, Mick O’sullivan and I won easily). Mark was in the Pro Shop, which it turns out is owned by his company, StarSD, set up with the aim of promoting the sports of squash and racketball in the UK. StarSD is heavily into racketball and runs the UK Racketball championships, and has created Fantasy Squash. Mark is a pro squash and racketball player , and a real go-ahead guy on short acquaintance.

I have great hopes of selling a shedload of copies of Sex and Drugs and Squash’n’Roll via StarSD, and maybe doing some other stuff with them.

Just Desserts almost there!

I got the sample copy of Just Desserts on June 5th: more agonising over the cover, but Jag and I eventually settled on this, with the text of the Nostradamus ‘quote’ a darker colour, matching the chocolate on the profiteroles.

The six copies have been sent to the obligatory legal deposit libraries and I’ll be receiving my initial copies from Writersworld in a few days, yippee!
